These photographs are from a series entitled "Homes at Night." I love how eerie these images are, which kind of makes me think about what is somewhat essential to most horror movies: making the domestic frightening; removing safety from where it's most assumed and promised to be: the home. But at the same time, these photos are peaceful, and there's something about those few windows lit in the midst of all that darkness that is promising of life, or at least refuge.
