Titarenko's images are as haunting as they are serene. I love the ghostly figures in the midst of surroundings that, in their static clarity, anchor the images with the weight of reality. Or something like that. However you try to put into words what Titarenko has managed to do with his camera, they are truly amazing photographs all the same.
