{ Josef Schulz }

These minimally-altered photographs are from German photographer, Josef Schulz. This series, aptly titled "Sign Out," was taken during his recent travels through the USA. The recognizability of these signs in spite of their lack of text seems to comment on our corporately saturated world (a theme of another of Schulz's series - "Centre Commercial"). The simplicity of these images and their bold colors is also in keeping with a lot of Schulz's earlier and equally beautiful photography.
