This video is made via "tilt-shifting," which uses a special lens to manipulate the depth of field and often results in scenes looking as if they were models in miniature. Sam O'Hare utilizes that very aspect of tilt-shift photography to create this magical "stop-motion" video of New York city. You can't help but feel like a kid watching all the goings-on in the little - and all so serious - streets. The Sandpit puts things "in perspective" by showing us a new - or rather, long lost - perspective.
