{ Daniel Danger }

If you haven't noticed (I'm not sure I have completely), I'm a big fan of images that somehow dwarf the human figure. So it's probably a given that these screen-prints by Daniel Danger (not sure if that's his real name...) are right up my alley, especially the first one. I also really like how these prints resemble etchings, with their strong black lines and silhouettes. Then there's Danger's dynamically monochromatic color schemes and sense of light and shadow which just really set his work apart - work, that is, which has gotten noticed by bands like Modest Mouse, The Decemberist, and Sonic Youth, just to name a few (check out some of his gig posters here). Chances are you'll see his work at some point in the future, and I, for one, can't wait to see what's yet to come from this young artist.
